Black Student Union African Ball Scheduled for March 23


The Black Student Union (BSU) at Southeast Missouri State University invites Southeast students, faculty and staff to the African Ball 2019: A Celebration of Black Excellence on Saturday, March 23.

This event will be a gracious evening to join in fellowship and acknowledge the African and African American culture. The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom A.

Dr. Tamara Zellars Buck, associate professor of mass media at Southeast, will serve as the keynote speaker. Entertainment and a catered buffet-style dinner will be included. Dress code is restricted to African or all black attire.
