CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., March 7, 2016 – Celebrate the Easter Season with Sister as she answers questions about pet heaven and the significance of those adorable baby chicks at a performance of “Sister’s Easter Catechism” March 22 at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus.
The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall.
Sister will answer time worn questions of the season about pet heaven and other questions such as “Will my bunny go to Heaven?” and “Why isn’t Easter the same day every year like Christmas?”
Part pageant, and wholly hysterical, the latest of the sinfully funny “Late Nite Catechism” series unearths the origins of Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, Easter bonnets, Easter baskets and, of course, those yummy Easter Peeps. Classroom participation is a must, so audience members should not forget to wear their Easter bonnets and join Sister for this seasonal treat.
In addition to the show, attendees can enjoy a fine dining experience in the Kenneth and Jeanine Dobbins River Campus Center. Art Cuisine dinner will be available prior to the performance. For $21 per person, which includes the meal, tax and gratuity along with preferred parking, patrons will receive a choice of three entrées, including a vegetarian selection. Each meal will also include a gourmet salad, dessert, tea and coffee. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at an additional charge. The dinner will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. The Kenneth and Jeanine Dobbins River Campus Center is a two-minute walk from the Bedell Performance Hall. For Art Cuisine reservations must be received no later than four days before the dinner. As seating is limited, patrons are encouraged to make Art Cuisine reservations as soon as possible by calling (573) 651-2511.
