The Department of Music at Southeast Missouri State University presents a “Chamber Music Concert for Flute, Cello and Piano” May 1 at Southeast’s River Campus.
The Concert will feature Southeast faculty members Dr. Sara Edgerton, cello, and Paul Thompson, piano, joined by guest Dr. James Thompson, flute, in an eclectic program of chamber music.
The Concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

A highlight of the program will be “Danza de la Mariposa” for solo flute by Valerie Coleman, a notable African American flautist and composer.
