The exhibition will be on display through Nov. 13. A reception is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 7.
This event brings together the works of the three Department of Art student organizations: the Art Guild, American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and Clay Club. The pieces displayed are completed during a course or as an independent project.
Students will help organize the exhibition as well as have the opportunity to exhibit their own work.
“The Department of Art has three student organizations: Art Guild, a general visual art organization; AIGA, an organization focused on graphic design and illustration; and Clay Club, an organization focused on functional and sculptural ceramics. Students will not only be able to exhibit their own work, but they will also help to organize the exhibition,” said Kristin Powers Nowlin, Gallery coordinator.
The River Campus Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the historic Seminary Building in Room 106.
