The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting a “Finger Weaving Workshop” Sept. 19-20 from 1-4 p.m.
This event is free for ages 15 and older and is open to the public. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Participants will receive individual supplies and tools, and materials are not to be shared. Participants may bring their own water and snacks.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to weave a pattern using only their fingers. The finish project will be 2-3 inches wide and is considered a sash, but its uses are limitless.
