The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will host a “Leaves in Watercolor” Make and Take Activity as part of Cape Girardeau’s First Friday with the Arts activities Nov. 1 from 4-8 p.m.
The event will be repeated on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1-4 p.m.
The public is invited to attend, and admission is free. Supplies are provided.
Participants will learn to use both positive and negative painting to create a colorful close-up of fall leaves. Colors can be light and pastel-like or continuously layered to become bold and bright. Participants can make their projects as simple as one leaf or use a branch of leaves together.
The Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, 1-4 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of the month. For more information, call (573) 651-2260 or email email@example.com.
