The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting “Moon Glow Painting” Make and Take Activity as part of Cape Girardeau’s First Friday with the Arts activities Oct. 2 from 4-8 p.m.
The event will be repeated on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 1-4 p.m.
These events are free and open to the public. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Participants will receive individual supplies and tools, and materials are not to be shared.
Participants will choose a painting of a moon created with black and white spray paint and add a silhouette of glow paint. Participants can turn out the lights and see how their art glows. Glow sticks will be provided.
The Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
