The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will host a “Painting Water Drops” Make and Take Activity 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 and 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
The public is invited to attend, and admission is free. Supplies are provided.
Museum staff will lead participants in using chalk pastel or acrylic paint to create the illusion of water drops sitting on the surface of an image. Participants will also learn how to make trailing drips and to master the art of letting the background show through while using high contrast values.

Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 1-4 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of the month. For more information, call (573) 651-2260 or email email@example.com.
