CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 22, 2013 – The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting UZ-2-B, a four-day, summer academy for youth June 4-7.
UZ–2–B participants ages 4-15 will see and explore how things “used to be” before the inception of today’s technology with fun activities and lessons focusing on regional history. Activities will include stories, role play, prehistoric and historic museum artifacts and more.
Because of limited seating, pre-registration is required for this free event. (Adult registration is required with preschoolers. Children must be at least 4 years old.)
Participants will experience a number of interesting and regional history, inventions and innovations of times past.
A morning session for ages 4-8 is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Adult supervision is required for preschoolers. An afternoon session for ages 9-15 will be held from 1 to 4 p.m.
