The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting an “Upscaled Metal Sculpture” workshop Oct. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
This event is free for adults and is open to the public. Supplies will be provided. A preregistration fee of $5 is due by Oct. 5.
During the workshop, local artist Bridget Jackson, helps participants select from a wide variety of metal objects, from everyday items to randomly found pieces, and use adhesives, hardware or other ways of attaching them to create unique sculptures they take with them. A theme may be suggested, but individual creativity is limitless.
