The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will host a spindle weaving and finger weaving workshop Feb. 23-24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During these workshops, taught by textile artist and Southeast alumna Susan Ream Wilson, participants will learn how to use a drop spindle to make yarn and how to finger weave to create a sash.
The workshops are free and open to the public. Participants must be at least 15 years old. Supplies are provided.
