CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.
July 26, 2006 – Enrollment reopens Aug. 4 for students planning to attend the Sikeston Area Higher Education Center (SAHEC) this fall.
Students who wish to enroll should complete an application form and return it to the SAHEC office with a $20 check or money order made out to Southeast Missouri State University.
A “Southeast at Your Service” student orientation program will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 8. While the orientation will be based at SAHEC, the Bootheel, Kennett, Malden and Perryville Higher Education Centers will participate via interactive television (ITV) so every student will be face-to-face with the presenters.
Fall semester classes at SAHEC begin Aug. 21. Advisors are available for assistance, so students should call the Center in order to schedule an appointment. Students should check with the SAHEC advisor to schedule testing. Students who do not meet Southeast admission requirements may be admitted as “restricted students” by Southeast at SAHEC. Restricted students may enroll in selected courses at the Center until requirements are met. To contact faculty or for more information, visit www.semo.edu and click on “satellite campuses.”
