Enterprise Holdings Foundation Donates $1,500 to Support Southeast Students’ Career Success

Enterprise Holdings Foundation has made a $1,500 gift to the Southeast Missouri University Foundation to benefit the University’s Office of Career Services in support of its efforts to prepare students for success after graduation and in launching extraordinary careers.

Jamie Timms, talent acquisition specialist with Enterprise Holdings in St. Louis, Missouri, presented Southeast’s Office of Career Services with the $1,500 check from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation.

The Enterprise Holdings Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, which, through its integrated network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands.

The donation will help support Career Services’ mission to provide students with the tools, resources and opportunities to identify full- and part-time jobs, internships and appropriate graduate schools, said Dan Presson, director of Career Services.

“The Office of Career Services is dedicated to assisting students and alumni in cultivating the life-long skills needed to successfully navigate their educational and career journeys. We are grateful for Enterprise Holdings Foundation’s continued of our mission and commitment to Southeast students,” Presson said. “The donation will allow Career Services to provide and expand our student programming services and assist students in being better prepared to enter the workforce and being confident employees at places like Enterprise.”

The donation will help support Career Services programming and events such as Career Expos, the International Student Talent Showcase, etiquette dinners, career planning and interview and resume preparation.
