Fields is a Minnesota-based, three-dimensional artist who primarily works with ceramics but also incorporates an array of mixed media. His artwork is highly ornate, colorful and displays a flair for the whimsy.
“This show is great opportunity for the community and students to interact with an artist who has a multifaceted career,” said Justin Miller, associate professor and exhibitions coordinator.
Fields is an entrepreneur with a rich history as a coffee shop owner and artist. This exhibition will focus on his highly detailed and ornate ceramic works, presenting both functional works and sculptural works that speak to facets of his entrepreneurial practices.
