On June 26, 2017, the Board of Regents approved changes to the faculty and staff fee waiver benefit. Effective with the fall 2017 semester, faculty and staff will receive an 80 percent tuition fee waiver for undergraduates and a 60 percent tuition fee waiver for graduates. These changes also include a maximum of six (6) credit hours per semester for reimbursement. General Fees will continue to be waived for faculty and staff utilizing the fee waiver benefits. Course Fees, Program Fees, Textbooks, and Electronic Course Materials are not covered by this benefit program. Faculty and staff taking Southeast courses must continue to complete the course(s) with a grade of “C” or better in order to remain eligible and avoid chargeback at the end of the semester in which they received the fee waiver benefit. Applications must be submitted online through the Southeast portal no later than the first day of classes for each semester. Faculty and staff participating in the Cooperative Graduate Reimbursement Program or the Nursing Tuition Reimbursement Program will receive a 60 percent tuition reimbursement and must continue to complete the course(s) with a grade of “B” or better in order to maintain eligibility and avoid chargebacks.
