The Foundation Expo exhibit will be on display Nov. 3-10 with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 3 in Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus Art Gallery.
The show will highlight student work created in their art courses, including 2-D design, color composition, drawing I and II, and 3-D design.
“I think viewers will enjoy the great variety of artwork, techniques and media in this exhibition,” said Justin Miller, associate professor and exhibitions coordinator. “This is an excellent opportunity to see the artwork created by freshmen and sophomore students in their foundation level courses.”
The exhibit also provides a unique experience for students to start exhibiting their artwork early in their artistic careers, he said.
The River Campus Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the historic Seminary Building in Room 106.
River Campus Art Gallery hours are 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-7 p.m. on First Fridays. All gallery exhibitions, events and talks are free and open to the public. For more information, contact Justin Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org or (573) 651-2865
