CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 5, 2010 — The Department of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University is offering a free master dance class to high school students. The class is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 20 at the Academy of Dance-Arts in Cape Girardeau.
Students will participate in a beginning/intermediate level master class which will include ballet barre, adagio/allegro and modern/jazz. After the class, current Southeast students will perform choreography from recent dance concerts. Also, a question and answer session will be available for the participants to gather information about Southeast’s Department of Theatre and Dance.

This free seminar offers future college dance students the opportunity to experience a master level class at Southeast.
