It’s that time of year again when the University transitions from heating to cooling. This change can lead to customer inquiries about buildings being too hot or too cold.
Facilities Maintenance personnel have been working to shut down certain heating systems and perform the proper maintenance to bring cooling systems online. We are working to ensure a seamless change-over, but weather variations may cause unanticipated fluctuations to interior temperatures as we progress through this transition.
Facilities Management apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience as they perform these necessary tasks. If you suspect you have a mechanical issue with the AC/heating system, we encourage you to post a work order with Facilities Management by doing the following:
- Visit facilities.semo.edu
- Click on the “Submit a Request” on the left side
- Fill out the request with as much detail as possible
- Click the “Submit” button at the bottom
- An email will update you on the status of your request
