Southeast faculty are invited to participate in the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) 2020 Faculty Survey. HERI administers the faculty survey every three years, and Southeast has participated since 1992.
Southeast faculty will be receiving email invites to participate in the survey beginning Feb. 17. The survey will run through March 6.
The HERI Faculty survey is designed to provide institutions with a comprehensive picture of the faculty experience. The survey includes topics such as pedagogical practices, faculty goals and expectations for students, research and service activities, sources of stress and satisfaction, and the connection between learning in the classroom and practices in the local and global community. Results from the survey may be used in a variety of ways, including strategic planning, faculty development activities, assessment and accreditation.
