Kent Library is now accepting application for Johnson Endowment Grants for Southeast Student Groups for the 2021-22 academic year. The deadline for applications is Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. Faculty and staff advisors are encouraged to let their student groups know about this opportunity.
Kent Library will be granting three awards for $1,000 each. Student groups should work with their advisors and a Kent Library Librarian on creating a list of materials for addition to the library’s collection. This year’s electronic application is available at semo.libwizard.com/f/JEGStudentGroups.
Johnson Endowment Grants are awarded to faculty, staff and student groups for materials that strengthen Kent Library’s collection in a particular curricular, program, discipline or subject area. These funds can only be used for items obtained through a one-time purchase — no subscription-based products are allowed. All materials are housed in Kent Library for campus-wide use.
