Elizabeth Kintz, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., has been named the February 2009 Student Recreation Services “Employee of the Month.”
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., March 2, 2009 — The Department of Recreation Services announced today that Elizabeth Kintz, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., has been named the February 2009 “Employee of the Month” for her service in the Department of Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State University.
The Recreational Sports Employee of the Month is the highest achievement award given to the Department of Recreational Sports student employees for going “above and beyond” the normal call of duty to assist the program, patrons and users of Southeast’s recreational facilities.
Kintz, a business administration/organizational leadership major, is a current facilities supervisor within the department and holds one of the top student positions within the department. She was nominated for her work ethic and continued service to the department. She assisted during the past month with late night events, the annual University wellness screening and other activities within the department.
Kintz is an active participant in the intramural sports offered within the department and enjoys traveling abroad. She plans to return to St. Louis after graduating in December 2009 to work full time. Kintz received a Rec Services duffle for her award.
