Limbaugh Sworn in as New Southeast Regent

James P. Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau was sworn in Feb. 14 as the newest member of the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents. Administering the oath of office was U.S. District Judge Stephen Limbaugh Jr. James P. Limbaugh replaces Donald G. LaFerla of Joplin, Missouri, whose term on the Board has expired. James P. Limbaugh was appointed by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson in January 2019 with a term expiring January 1, 2025. This is Limbaugh’s second term on the Board of Regents. He previously served a six-year term ending Jan. 1, 2013, including one year as Board vice president. His previous service as a Regent followed an appointment by former Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt.
