Terry Gohn was a Jackson native and an avid football fan. He thoroughly enjoyed watching football at all levels, from youth to high school, in addition to college and the NFL. He played football for Jackson High School, and although he never attended college, was very proud that his children, brother, nephew and many of his cousins attended Southeast. Terry was also proud that his brother, Mike, excelled as a football player at Southeast. Terry passed away in 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Adam and Shvetha Gohn are avid supporters of Southeast Athletics and legend-level members of the Redhawks Club. They also were the 2018 recipients of the Southeast Alumni Association’s Distinguished Young Alumni Service Award, which honors alumni under the age of 37 for their outstanding service to and support of the University. They have also established the Shvetha and Adam Gohn Basketball Scholarship, awarded to a men’s or women’s basketball student-athlete. Adam and Shvetha work side by side in a local law firm, Glaus and Gohn, LC, serving the southeast Missouri area. They are very proud to continue to support Southeast’s football program and local football players through this scholarship honoring Mike Gohn and in memory of Terry Gohn.
