A Train-Themed Family Day will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at the Southeast Missouri Regional Museum.

Sept. 26, 2006 – The Southeast Missouri Regional Museum at Southeast Missouri State University is sponsoring a Train Themed Family Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, in the Museum.
Activities will include a museum scavenger hunt and opportunities to make milk carton locomotives, learn how a steam engine works and drive railroad spikes. The events are free and open to all ages. Youth groups are welcome.
The Family Day is in connection with the museum’s current featured exhibit, “The Last Steam Railroad in America: Photographs of O. Winston Link.”
The Southeast Missouri Regional Museum is located in Memorial Hall Room 122.
