Students, faculty and staff can now nominate a faculty or professional advisor for the Outstanding Academic Advisor Award. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Dec. 1.
Any faculty or staff member who serves as an academic advisor to students is eligible to receive this award if he or she has a minimum of two years of service to Southeast at the time of nomination, is a full-time employee with ongoing academic advising responsibilities and currently assigned advisees, is a current Master Advisor at Southeast and has not received the award in the previous three years.

The Outstanding Academic Advisor Award is given to one faculty advisor and one professional advisor annually. Each award recipient will receive an award plaque. The faculty award recipient will receive $750 in professional development funds to be used for academic advising-related professional activities. The professional advisor award recipient will receive a cash reward of $750.
