CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,
Sept. 15, 2004 – “Normal Editions Workshop: A Print Retrospective” will be on display for students and their families to enjoy during Family Weekend Sept. 24-26 in the Southeast Missouri Regional Museum.
This retrospective features contemporary prints produced by Illinois State University’s Normal Editions Workshop since its beginning in 1976. A variety of artists, styles and media, including lithographs and etchings, are featured. About 50 original, limited edition prints are on display.
“The exhibit offers a variety of contemporary print-making techniques,” said Stanley Grand, director of the University Museum.
The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will remain on display through Oct. 3. The Museum is located in Memorial Hall Room 122, just west of Academic Hall. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
