Power Outage in Central Campus; Classes, Office Openings Delayed

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., July 24, 2013 – A power outage in the central campus of Southeast Missouri State University is delaying the start of classes and office openings this morning, July 24.

The power outage affects the following buildings: Memorial, Art, Serena, Carnahan, Crisp, Cheney, GS1 and Parker.

Summer classes in these buildings beginning at 8 and 9 a.m. are canceled. Further information on classes scheduled later in the day will be forthcoming.

Staff employed in these buildings should not report to work at 8 a.m. and will be notified by their supervisor of the status of office openings.
