The Provost Search Committee met on March 22 to review 49 applications for the Provost position and has invited 11 candidates to participate in initial interviews via Zoom on April 8 and 9.
The Committee first met on February 1 to draft and finalize the position announcement, a search brochure, and to identify sites and publications to advertise the position. The application window opened the following week on Feb. 8 and closed on March 7.
Upon completion of the Zoom Interviews, the Committee will meet to identify candidates to invite for on-campus interviews. On-campus interviews are tentatively scheduled to take place April 22-May 3.
The Provost Search Committee is comprised of the following individuals: Dr. Toni Alexander (College of Humanities and Social Sciences), Dr. Joni Hand (Holland College of Arts and Media), Mr. Carl Hess (Kent Library), Mr. Chris Martin (President’s Office), Dr. Thomas “Joe” Pujol (College of Education, Health and Human Studies), Dr. Willie Redmond (Harrison College of Business and Computing), Dr. Craig Roberts (College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Mr. Matt Rolwing (Student Government Association), and Ms. Rhonda Weller-Stilson (President’s Office).
