The Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning is offering two cohorts to help faculty members design their online courses. Cohorts will meet once a week for five weeks, with meetings beginning either Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 3 p.m. or Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. in Kent Library Room 311. Participants only need to sign up for one cohort that works best for their schedule. The one-hour meetings, designed to develop courses that help students succeed and meet the Quality Matters (QM) rubric, will cover techniques, strategies, software and designs to better the structure of their online classes. All faculty members who complete the five sessions and generate a course that successfully meets the QM rubric will recieve $250. To register visit, https://cstl.semo.edu/workshop/.
