CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 18, 2011 — Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State University has named Samantha Espiricueta, a senior from Cape Girardeau, as its December 2010 Employee of the Month.
Espiricueta, a lifeguard on staff, was nominated for her work above and beyond her normal duties as a lifeguard.

Several patrons have also made comments about her professionalism and abilities as a lifeguard.
Recreation Services is proud to congratulate Espiricueta on this accomplishment.
The Recreation Services Student Employee of the Month is the highest achievement award given to a Recreation Services student employee for going “above and beyond” the normal call of duty to assist the program, patrons and users of Southeast’s recreational facilities.
