CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,
Dec. 16, 2008 – The Department of Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State University has announced that Melissa Sandretto, a junior from Affton, Mo., and Alex Skelton, a senior from Jackson, Mo., were named as co-Employees of the Month for November.
The Employee of the Month award is given to student employees working with the Department of Recreation Services at Southeast. The award recognizes outstanding achievement with student employees and their ability to go beyond normal duties.
Sandretto, an activity attendant within the department, is a communication disorders major with a minor in family studies. She aspires to work as a hospital speech pathologist in Florida upon graduation. Sandretto was recognized for her work ethic.
Skelton, a sport management major, aspires to work in the sport fishing industry. Skelton is president of the Bass Anglers sport club on campus, which is currently ranked one of the top 25 collegiate bass fishing teams in the nation. Skelton was recognized for his efforts in a regional flag football tournament held recently at Southeast.
