CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,
June 14, 2007 – Massage therapy sessions are being offered during two evenings this summer at the Student Recreation Center-North at Southeast Missouri State University.
Each massage session is tailored to the participant’s personal needs to relieve tension and stress, improve circulation, address aches and pains as appropriate, and leave them relaxed and feeling great.
The massage therapy sessions are provided by Connie Willsey, a registered nurse and licensed massage therapist who is a graduate of the Massage Institute of Memphis, Tenn. She is a member of the Missouri Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association and is a nationally certified massage practitioner with more than 10 years experience in health care. She is dedicated to holistic healing, wellness and health maintenance.
Willsey offers a wide variety of techniques and modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, injury recovery and Thai massage. Recreation Services’ specially contracted rates allow participants to take advantage of high quality services at well below market rates.
Massage therapy sessions are available from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings
June 26 and July 24 in Conference Room 107 of the Student Recreation Center –North. Appointments are necessary.
The cost for a 30-minute session is $20 for a student and $30 for faculty, staff and community members. The cost for a one-hour session is $35 for students and $45 for faculty, staff and community members. Payment is due two days prior to a participant’s appointment. To register, stop by the Recreation Services office located in the Student Recreation Center-North. Payment methods include student/employee account charge, check, cash or credit card.
