Redhawks Kids Camp is a day camp (with several options regarding times) and is open to boys and girls who are entering grades K-8 in the fall of 2007. Staffed by qualified Southeast student counselors (many are aspiring educators and teachers), the camp offers daily activities and educational sessions at the Student Recreation Center – South (720 Broadway) on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, for nine weeks this summer. Redhawks Kids Camp will begin on Monday, June 4.
Each week (session) has a theme, and many of the activities will include aspects of these themes. Themes for the summer include “Community Week,” Redhawks Kids Camp for a Healthy You!,” “Career Week,” “Redhawks Week,” and a favorite from previous years, “Redhawks Kids Camp Water Week.”
Campers will swim daily at Capaha Pool during the afternoons. New this year is a “Provided Lunch Option” for parents and guardians on the go. Provided by “Chartwells” on campus, lunches can be ordered and ready for kids the same day at a minimal charge.
