Regents Appoint New Members to River Campus Board of Managers

The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents Tuesday, June 12, appointed two new representatives to the River Campus Board of Managers.

Dr. Trudy Lee, interim vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the Southeast Missouri University Foundation, was appointed to a term expiring Dec. 1, 2019. She replaces Bill Holland, who previously served as vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the University Foundation, who retired in March.

Also appointed to the Board of Managers was Dr. Tamela Randolph, interim provost, for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2020. She replaces Dr. Karl Kunkel, former provost.

The River Campus Board of Managers is comprised of three representatives appointed by the University’s Board of Regents and three appointed by the Cape Girardeau City Council. At least one of the City’s appointees must be from the hotel/motel industry.

Continuing as a University representative on the board is Rhonda Weller-Stilson, director and associate dean of the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts. Her term expires Dec. 1, 2018. City representatives on the Board are Scott Meyer, Dennis Vollink and Victoria Rust.
