Godard is filling the unexpired term of Dr. Tamela Randolph, who served on the Board of Managers in her capacity as interim provost. On July 1, she was appointed dean of Southeast’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, when Godard assumed the role of provost. Godard’s term runs through Dec. 1, 2020.
Lee, interim vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the Southeast Missouri University Foundation, has been reappointed to a three-year term ending Dec. 1, 2022, in anticipation of the eventual expiration of her current term on Dec. 1.
Godard and Lee are two of three University representatives on the Board of Managers along with Rhonda Weller-Stilson, dean of the Earl and Margie Holland College of Arts and Media. City representatives on the Board of Managers are Dennis Vollink, Victoria Rust and Scott Meyer.
The Cooperation Agreement for the St. Vincent Seminary property between the City of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University calls for both the City Council and the Board of Regents to each appoint three members to the River Campus Board of Managers. At least one of the city’s appointees must be from the hotel/motel industry. Members serve three-year terms.
