Dr. Brad Sheriff, vice president for finance and administration, delivered a report on contracts and Facilities Management projects to the Regents Dec. 18.
Sheriff said one new contract in excess of $100,000 has been issued since the Regent’s last meeting on Sept. 25. The University purchased a new audio-visual system for the University Center. Installation of the system, originally scheduled to be complete this month, will be completed in January 2021.
Work continues at the Abe Stuber Track and Field Complex, Sheriff said. Repairs are being made to mitigate drainage issues and will be completed in spring of 2021, he said.
Sheriff also highlighted the upgrades to the Towers West and North elevators, which have also been completed. Repairs were made to one elevator in each tower prior to the start of the fall semester, and the second elevator in each tower was completed this month, he said.
