Sheriff Delivers Report on Contracts and Facilities Management Projects (Page 64-65)


Dr. Brad Sheriff, vice president for finance and administration, delivered a report on contracts and Facilities Management projects to the Regents Feb. 26.

Sheriff said there were no new contract in excess of $100,000 that have been issued since the Regent’s last meeting on Dec. 18.

He then proceeded to provide an update on repairs and renovations of five University utility tunnels. In January, Governor Mike Parson released just under $4.1 million from the Federal Budget Stabilization Fund to the University for deferred maintenance projects. Engineering work on this project will commence shortly and Sheriff provided an overview of the project.

In his written report he also provided updates on University funded maintenance and repair capital improvements over $50,000. The University Center Audio – Video improvements noted at the last meeting are complete and under warranty.
