Southeast Missouri State University-Sikeston is hosting a meeting Nov. 13 for high school juniors and seniors from Sikeston, Charleston, Bloomfield and Puxico, Mo., who are working toward meeting the state A+ Schools Program requirements.

Nov. 3, 2008 – Southeast Missouri State University-Sikeston is hosting a meeting Nov. 13 for high school juniors and seniors from Sikeston, Charleston, Bloomfield and Puxico, Mo., who are working toward meeting the state A+ Schools Program requirements.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the campus located at 2401 N. Main in Sikeston.
Students who attend an A+ school and meet the state A+ requirements are eligible for the Southeast A+ Scholarship, which can be used at Southeast’s campuses in Sikeston, Kennett and Malden, Mo. In addition to covering the specifics of the Southeast A+ Scholarship, information about admissions, financial aid, other scholarships, and the courses and programs available at Southeast Missouri State University-Sikeston will be provided.
The Southeast A+ Scholarship may be used for two full consecutive academic years, including summers, or up to 57 credit hours applicable to a degree, whichever comes first. The scholarship pays 100 percent of incidental fees for 100- and 200-level course work taken at Southeast’s regional campuses in Sikeston, Kennett or Malden, not covered by other awards specifically designed to cover incidental fees or by the Federal Pell Grant or state of Missouri grants. Students must complete full-time enrollment each semester and earn a 2.5 cumulative grade point average to continue their eligibility in the program.
