Get into the Halloween spirit at the Sixth Annual Pumpkin Palooza Oct. 27 at the Glenn House in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
This frightfully fun and free event, sponsored by Southeast Missouri State University’s Continuing Education and the Historical Association of Greater Cape Girardeau, will be held at the Glenn House, located at 325 S. Spanish St., from 2-5 p.m., weather permitting.
Pumpkin Palooza is a terrific pumpkin carving and painting party. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own pumpkin, and patterns, tools, tarps, paints, paintbrushes and candles will be provided.
Activities also include a costume contest with judging scheduled for 4 p.m.; creepy crafts; face painting; spooky stories; music; and a “Make No Bones About It” science area.
Additionally, special Halloween tours of the Glenn House will be available for $5 per person.
