The trip, scheduled for Aug. 6-16 will include visits to sites in Prague, Czech Republic, including the “Castle District,” the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Prague Castle, and Lobkowicz Palace; in Vienna, Austria, including a classical music performance at the Schoenbrunn Palace and a Danube River cruise; and in Budapest, Hungary, including the Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, and the historic Old Buda and Gellert Hall.
The Alumni Association’s group travel partners – Collette Vacations and 1st Class Travel of Cape Girardeau – will host a free travel show about the trip from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Aleen Vogel Wehking Alumni Center at 926 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. The Travel Show will include detailed information about the trip itinerary, accommodations, inclusions and costs. The trip is open to anyone, including alumni, faculty, staff and the general public.
