Students from Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Stoddard, Washington, and Wayne counties competed for the chance to advance to the state National History Day competition at the University of Missouri April 21.
The theme for History Day 2012 was “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History,” and students competed in one of five categories: exhibit, documentary, performance, historical paper or website.
An awards ceremony was held at the end of the day’s events.
