Southeast, carGO Collaborate to Create ‘SEMO on the GO’ App

carGO Technologies and Southeast Missouri State University recently launched “SEMO on the GO”, a new on-demand food and ride share service. The partnership brings together entities from public and private sectors to offer SEMO students, faculty and staff added convenience when carrying out daily routines.

In-App Features

Similar to carGO, “SEMO on the GO” is an app that allows users to order ahead or request delivery from participating restaurants. Ride share services are also available. “SEMO on the GO” has been branded to reflect its partnership with the University.

With the launch of this new partnership, carGO and the University are continuing to explore the possibility of introducing additional enhancements through the “SEMO on the GO” app, including an option to order ahead or request delivery from on-campus dining venues. Through this feature, students hired by carGO could be stationed on campus to make deliveries quickly and efficiently. Beyond added convenience and new integrated technologies that enhance the student experience, these features and others could provide an additional benefit by allowing users to socially distance from lines and busy on-campus dining facilities.

carGO hopes to enrich the partnership by sharing a portion of sales generated through “SEMO on the GO” with the University to support a variety of student programs in the near future.

‘Welcome Back’ Promotions

carGO is welcoming students back to in-person classes with free food delivery and 50% off ride share services.  Anyone who downloads “SEMO on the GO” will receive free delivery on all their food orders through Sept.30. They can also get 50% off the base ride share fee when using the “SEMO on the GO” app.
