The Southeast Chamber Music Institute at Southeast Missouri State University will hold its fifth annual faculty recital on July 15 in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall at Southeast’s River Campus.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
The concert will include music for winds, strings and piano by various artists including Brahms, Beethoven, Massenet, Puccini and Rossini.
The Southeast Chamber Music Institute provides an intensive and musically rewarding summer program for intermediate to advanced musicians, ranging in age from 12 to 23. The faculty is drawn from the Department of Music at Southeast and also includes special guest artists. Paul Thompson serves at the director of The Southeast Chamber Music Institute.
