CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,
Sept. 19, 2003 – The Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University will hold its 31st annual Criminal Justice Day career fair on Oct. 7. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the third floor of the University Center.
Criminal Justice Day offers college and high school students the opportunity to explore the numerous career possibilities available to them through a career in the criminal justice field, including law enforcement, corrections, private security and conservation. Students will have the chance to meet with representatives from agencies across the country and learn more about the various career options that are available.
Special Agent Michael Braun from the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) Detroit field office will also be on hand to speak about his experiences with the DEA. Agent Braun’s presentation will be held in Glenn Auditorium in Dempster Hall from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
