Southeast Hosting Soil Health and Water Quality Workshop July 18

Southeast Missouri State University’s Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) will host a Soil Health and Water Quality Workshop July 18 at the University’s campus in Kennett, Missouri.

This free workshop is scheduled from 8:30 a.m.-noon, and is open to anyone with an interest in soil health and water quality issues.

Topics to be discussed include cover crops, water quality, irrigation and conservation programs. There will also be various demonstrations and a farmer panel comprised of local experts.
