Southeast Missouri State University will host a youth baseball camp for boys ages 8-13 June 21-23 and June 28-July 10 sponsored by the Creve Coeur Athletic Association of Maryland Heights, Mo.
Camp sessions will be lead by the coaching staff of the Southeast baseball team, including Coach Mark Hogan and assistant coaches Scott Southard and Jeff Dodson, as well as other college and high school coaches from the surrounding area. All-American athletes, including 2003 All-Americans Tim Alvarez and Justin Christian, also will participate to lend their insights to aspiring baseball players.
The first two sessions for players ages 14-18 will be held June 21- 24. Athletes may choose between morning and afternoon camps. The second two sessions, designed for younger players ages 8-13, will be held June 28-July 1 and will also consist of either a morning or afternoon camp. For all sessions, players are asked to provide their own tennis shoes, cleats, batting helmets, gloves, bats and batting gloves.
To attend a camp session, players should submit a registration form and medical treatment form as well as a $100 deposit to the camp director of Southeast Missouri State University.
