Southeast Missouri State University is pleased to announce that, effective March 15 and following an internal search, University Budget Office Director Sue Wilde has accepted the position of assistant vice president for Financial Services in the Division of Finance and Administration. In addition to continuing as Budget Director, Wilde will assume oversight for the offices of the Controller and Student Financial Services. This position was created to ensure even stronger coordination across these critical finance functions and to position the University for the vital and growing importance of a comprehensive approach to the institution’s fiscal health.
Wilde began her association with Southeast as a student, where she earned an undergraduate degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. She began her University career working in Financial Aid, after which she transitioned into a budget analyst position. It was during this time the University implemented Banner Finance, a major transition in which Wilde played a significant role. Following several years of service as the associate director of Facilities Management, Wilde became the University’s Budget Director in 2011. Her deep institutional knowledge and broad financial and operational background will prove invaluable as she undertakes her additional duties.
Dr. Brad Sheriff, vice president for Finance and Administration, asks the University community to join him in congratulating Sue Wilde, as well as in supporting her in this expanded role.
