Southeast Presenting Musical Docudrama Based on War Poet’s Works

Southeast Missouri State University Department of Music faculty and students will present a musical docudrama based on the life and works of Great War poet Rupert Brooke April 11 at Southeast’s River Campus.

The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall.

This presentation will feature readings from Brooke’s poems by Paul Thompson and a new musical score by Southeast professor of composition, Dr. Robert Fruehwald.
