The Southeast Prevention Resource Center is hosting two training workshops in February.
“The Link Between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Substance Misuse (ACEs)” will be held Feb. 14 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the University Center Redhawk Room. ACEs can impact chlidren’s health and well-being and cause them to have long-term effects on their health and wellness as adults. The training will help participants understand, recognize and prevent ACEs.
“Vaping: What Is It and Prevention Resources?” will be held Feb. 19 from 10 a.m.-noon in the University Center Ballroom A. During this workshop, participants will learn the current trends and resources, and look at a variety of vaping devices.
