Southeast S.H.O.W. Mobile Autism Screenings Rescheduled for June 3


CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 4, 2011ᾰThe Southeast Missouri State University S.H.O.W. Mobile and Autism Center will team up to offer free developmental screenings for autism in children from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, Mo.

The event originally scheduled for April 29 was cancelled because of area flooding issues. 

Parents and guardians of children ages 2 to 5 years old who have concerns about their child’s development are invited to complete screening activities with Dr. Victoria Moore, licensed clinical psychologist and the Autism Center’s diagnostic evaluator, and other associates from the Center.  Information on developmental milestones and early signs of risk for autism spectrum disorder will also be available.
